Wonder if #EveryLayout's sidebar could be used for a media component where the image is on top by default, and on the right when there's enough space.

Looks like it's either 1st element on the left or 2nd element on the right… 🤔

A media element based on EveryLayout's sidebar?

I guess nobody saw that yet, because it is almost never used 😅, but the search have been improved with an autocomplete.

Still using #Algolia, of course! 😍

This new monitoring tool based on #Eleventy, built by @zachleat, is awesome! 😍

A self-hosted dashboard to continuously measure and publish web site performance statistics using Lighthouse and Axe.

It took me just a few minutes to built my dashboard for multiple sites:

Looks like my site is rapidly disappearing from Google. 🤷‍♂️

I guess most of my content is not interesting anymore, not really a surprise with some being almost 20 years old… 😅

If iTunesMusic plays in the background, there is a media control key in the Touch Bar.

This key shows the media controls.

When Music is in focus, there is another Touch Bar.

The control keys and the progress bar are inverted! 🤦‍♂️

I use #Eleventy transforms for multiple use cases, but they can only be run on the almost final HTML.

How would you run other transforms on the source #Markdown, before Markdown-it?

How could it be done in en Eleventy plugin?

I still love how #IFTTT makes it easy to link two services.

But getting content from a feed entry to create a tweet with image has always been a bit tedious.

Let's try again…

Anyone knows which browsers support the href attribute in #SVG <use> tags without the xlink namespace?

Couldn't find the information in #CanIUse.

I'm not interested (this time) in support in SVG editors or other tools, just browsers.

images-responsiver is a simple solution for most responsive images needs

Is it catchy enough? 😁

Here's my latest pet project, trying to help people struggling with responsive images:

If you use #Eleventy, there's also a plugin:

Documentation is still a little rough around the edges, but should be enough at least for people already knowing npm and JS.

I wish #GitHub had a different UX for repository deletion if this is a fork.

Especially if there is nothing useful (no open PR for example) on the repository to delete. "Unexpected bad things" will NOT happen in such case!

Had to cancel subscription for #Netlify Analytics on because it doesn't support redirects yet, it was almost useless.

But I wanted to pay for the global Netlify service I use for other sites, so I subscribed for Analytics for another site that already have Google Analytics, let's see how they compare.

My #Eleventy build time is now down to 37 seconds on average! 💪

A few external data fetches, 1087 HTML pages generated, 1608 simple images <img src…> automatically transformed into responsive <img srcset… sizes…>

I'm wondering, is it really a good idea to share interesting links on the @nice_links separate Twitter account, instead of this one?

Do you follow:

  1. both @nhoizey and @nice_links?
  2. only @nhoizey, with links in RTs?
  3. only @nhoizey, not interested in such links?

Want another reason to hate #AMP?

A play in three acts:

@Rich_Harris @atmccann Looks like it’s been fixed! 👍

By the way, I saw the button isn’t there at all on my Safari on iPhone, is it on purpose on small viewports?

I wanted to check for the situation in Sweden, where I’m traveling right now. 😅

@atmccann @Rich_Harris Ooh, just saw I’m on the AMP version… 🤦‍♂️7

@atmccann @Rich_Harris The button is there and working on the "true" version.

Sorry for the mistake.

Users should not have to go through this. This is really bad UX.

Unfortunately, I guess most end users would blame the New York Times, not Google.

I have an idea to improve this…

163 apps to update on my #iPhone. I didn’t know I have so many… 😅

It might be a good time for some cleaning! 🧼

The Web is so easier…
