Paint timing metrics are too optimistic. In 85-95% of cases, they are recorded before any pixels are actually rendered to the screen.

The #Gremlins extension for #VSCode now allows you to hide the gremlin icon from the gutter, so that legitimate characters are less distracting.

Nice new #WebPerf tool from @browserstack, it will help show people (aka "clients") not everyone have the same high end device and/or browser.
For example, even on the same Windows 10, Edge 80 is 3 times faster than Edge 18:
