Anyone knows how to time travel?
Looks like #Gandi is suggesting me today to renew a domain before yesterday… 🤔

Unfortunately, I've not been able to include #Algolia's npm packages (algoliasearch
and autocomplete.js
) in my #Rollup build.
I explained it there, if you think you can help:
https://discourse.algolia.com/t/using-rollup-to-bundle-autocomplete-js/10599
I guess nobody saw that yet, because it is almost never used 😅, but the search have been improved with an autocomplete.
Still using #Algolia, of course! 😍
Looks like #Workbox 6 will improve a few things I struggled with in the past, it became so easy to develop great Web Services! 👍
https://github.com/GoogleChrome/workbox/releases/tag/v6.0.0-alpha.1
@strongholdpay will be discontinuing Web Monetization support effective August 20, 2020
I don't even earn enough from #WebMonetization to pay my @Coil subscription, but I like this effort to enhance the Web, so I'll continue… with @UpholdInc
Trying to improve Pack11ty Lighthouse score, I don't understand where the console error comes from, because I don't have it when browsing the site.
Why fix that? Because https://www.speedlify.dev/eleventy-starters/ 😅
TIL: if you cache images with a Service Worker, and you have a Content Security Policy, the image's origin should be in both the img-src
and connect-src
directives.
Details from @qubyte: https://qubyte.codes/blog/content-security-policy-and-service-workers
@bagder hi Daniel, reading https://daniel.haxx.se/blog/2016/08/18/http2-connection-coalescing/ (yes, I'm late 😅)
If DNS B.example.com returns 192.168.0.2
and 192.168.0.3
, is TLS really enough to be sure it also works on 192.168.0.1
?
BTW, there's a typo near the end: "both IPv4 and IPv4 addresses".
Google's Structure Data testing tool finds only the BreadcrumbList type in my article pages.
But using @redirectionio's new Structured data validation tool, I've been able to fix an issue with a second type, WebPage, that Google didn't see. 👍
I guess we'll (unfortunately) see a lot of turtles in Firefox soon, while browsing the Web with devtools open… 🐢
JUST LANDED in Firefox Nightly:
🐢!
Appears when the server response time for a request exceeds the recommended limit of 500 ms (adjustable in about:config).
Awesome dev work by @b4bomsy and planning by @digitarald & @janodvarko!
If you spot it and it helps, let us know!H
Wondering why my #Workbox based Service Workers breaks images on https://nicolas-hoizey-com.netlify.app/notes/ but not https://nicolas-hoizey.com/notes/
It's exactly the same code. 🤷♂️
Using speedlify with #Netlify is great, because enhancing the sites performance will reduce the build times, therefore the monthly cost… 😁
This new monitoring tool based on #Eleventy, built by @zachleat, is awesome! 😍
New project: Speedlify 🐇
A self-hosted dashboard to continuously measure and publish web site performance statistics using Lighthouse and Axe.

It took me just a few minutes to built my dashboard for multiple sites:
