I probably need to unpack some emotional baggage from past decades of work doing ObjC, .Net, and Java client work. Those were not my favorite projects and I think I will always prefer lightweight, non-typed scripting languages. I also over-index on code portability and the hypothetical need to migrate away from a technology, that’s on me as well.
