Did @StepsizeHQ use a screenshot of my own Gremlins extension for #VSCode to illustrate a similar extension but made for JetBrains?

Great news, #VSCode now highlights "all uncommon invisible characters in source code"! 🎉
This means the Gremlins extension should remove these characters, but I think it is still useful for some others.

You can now define gremlins settings per language! 🎉
For example, a right double quotation mark (”
, unicode U+201d
) can be perfectly acceptable in Markdown, but weird in another format…

You can now configure a character as perfectly acceptable, it will not show a gremlin anymore. 👻
Settings also now have IntelliSense for the available values! 🎉
