Pile up enough treasure behind the castle walls and you’ll eventually attract someone who can climb them.

This is a nice quote about security threats caused by concentrating our personal data in a few centralised services, from a great talk Maciej Ceglowski, founder of Pinboard (the “social bookmarking site for introverts” I chose a while ago), gave at re:publica in 2017.
