    Actually, we’ve reaaaally tried to write relevant, checkable, useful, non-numeric and universal rules about the lenght of passwords and we didn’t succeed. Everything we found wasn’t solid enough. The 8 you sent are really good, though, but we have nothing about min/max lenght

    I can't agree more! The folks I know who have been busy building and loving the Web should care about this too, imho. cc @zeldman, @meyerweb, @t and friends. It may look dull *because* it's the opposite of the bleeding edge: it's the things everybody should know.
