This Too Shall Pass

From the OK Go album "Of the Blue Colour of the Sky" available at http://www.okgo.net/store Director: James Frost, OK Go and Syyn Labs. Producer: Shirley Moyers. The official video for the recorded version of "This Too Shall Pass" off the album "Of the Blue Colour of the Sky". The video was filmed in a two story warehouse, in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA. The "machine" was designed and built by the band, along with members of Syyn Labs ( http://syynlabs.com/ ) over the course of several months. There is an in-depth behind-the-scenes look at the warehouse here: http://www.okgo.net/this-too-shall-pass-rube-goldberg-machine/ OK Go thanks State Farm for making this video possible.

Buy the video on iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/needing-getting-bundle-ep/id508124847  See more about the guitars at: http://www.gretschguitars.com/features/okgo The new music video from OK Go, made in partnership with Chevrolet. OK Go set up over 1000 instruments over two miles of desert outside Los Angeles. A Chevy Sonic was outfitted with retractable pneumatic arms designed to play the instruments, and the band recorded this version of Needing/Getting, singing as they played the instrument array with the car. The video took 4 months of preparation and 4 days of shooting and recording. There are no ringers or stand-ins; Damian took stunt driving lessons. Each piano had the lowest octaves tuned to the same note so that they’d play the right note no matter where they were struck. Many thanks to Chevy for believing in and supporting such an insane and ambitious project, and to Gretsch for providing the guitars and amps. For more information visit http://www.okgo.net. Director: Brian L. Perkins & Damian Kulash, Jr. Director of Photography: Yon Thomas Editor: Doug Walker Producer: Luke Ricci

The Writing’s On the Wall

We’re less than a zero-sum game now, and baby we both know that’s not how it’s supposed to be. The writing’s on the wall — it seems like forever since we had a good day. The writing’s on the wall, and I… I just want to get you high tonight. I just wanna see some pleasure in your eyes. And I go too hot, and you go too cold and we both fall apart. and you bring your mind to rest against mine, but the mind has no say in affairs of the heart. The writing’s on the wall — it seems like forever since we had a good day. The writing’s on the wall, and I… I just want to get you high tonight. I just wanna see some pleasure in your eyes. Even if it’s the last thing that we do together. CREDITS: Created By SpecialGuest.tv for OK Go Directed by Aaron Duffy, Damian Kulash, Jr. & Bob Partington Production Co - 1stAveMachine Exec.

  1. En fait il y avait déjà un autre clip sympa pour la chanson « This Too Shall Pass » ⬆︎
